Experiential News of the Week 26.06.16

Cadbury take the Double Decker to the next level…

cadburyJust this week, Cadbury have launched their very own experiential bus. You read that right! To celebrate its 40th anniversary, Cadbury has created a Double Decker themed experienced bus which will be touring the UK from Tuesday 27th September until Monday 3rd October. Whilst on its travels, visitors will be able to experience playful ways to reach the lower deck (yep, you see the slide right there, here’s hoping us adults can get on that too!) If that isn’t enough for you, once you get to the lower deck of the bus, you’ll be able to taste all sorts of Double Decker inspired delicacies created by none other than Reshmi Bennett, award winning baker. Oh and we’re certain you won’t be too sad to leave as you’ll have a load of treats to take home with you too!

Spooky film twins cause quite the stir in London…

twinsWell we think it’s safe to assume that more than a few commuters would have had quite the shock this week thanks to these two tikes! Six year old actors wearing robes and masked appeared on the London Underground and at various tourist spots (generally creeping everyone out but at the same time creating a great experiential advert ahead of a premiere) across London on Monday 26th September to promote Tim Burton’s brand new film “Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children”. Apparently, the twins (playing the Oddwell twins in the movie) were even spotted at Buckingham Palace and Hamley’s Toy Store. If you’d rather steer clear of this spooky pair, then you can catch them in the film which will be released on 29th September.

The Marriott’s  gone topsy turvy…

marriottJust this week, The Marriott Hotels unveiled its #MGravityRoom (yep, there’s a hashtag, check it out on Twitter!) So what is it? It’s basically an interactive replica of the brand’s evolving modern guest room designs. Pretty nifty idea eh? Rather than a simple collage of images over time, The Marriott have created this fab experiential exhibit for all to enjoy! Located in the Great Room of the New York Marriott at the Brooklyn Bridge, this inverted (topsy turvy, zero gravity, you get the drift) is open until 6th October 2016, which means that until then, all sorts of visitors can go along and take some snaps so it looks like they’re walking on the ceiling. I mean, if that’s not a cracker of a selfie opportunity, we don’t know what is!
